The application process consists of two steps, where interested organizations are asked to initially submit a short pitch. LARGE GRANTS In this category, MFMC is looking for projects typically in the range of EUR 20,000 to EUR 200,000, although larger projects may be considered. MFMC traditionally announces six calls for applications every year, in two different categories: large and small grants. Please note that the foundation will notconsider applications that have a purely local focus, that focuses on implementation of community-level projects such as forest conservation, tree planting, climate change adaptation, or that primarily seek to disseminate climate-related information to the general public. To date, TFCF has helped over 1,020 homeless women and children in San Bernardino County achieve self-sufficiency. Because of the lack of decent, affordable housing in San Bernardino, TFCF has developed its own 7-unit affordable housing apartment complex and has 13 scattered site apartments bringing the total housing capacity to 115 annually. Today, TFCF offers three types of housing: emergency shelter, permanent supportive, and affordable. Since 2002, Time For Change Foundation (TFCF) has been dedicated to helping homeless women and children achieve self-sufficiency by using an array of evidenced-based practices coupled with a strength-based approach to address their needs. TFCF programs and supportive services help to assist families and individuals with the skills necessary to recover from the effects of homelessness, addiction, incarceration, and mental and physical abuse.
